This Privacy Policy describes how Shayona Finserve (“Shayona”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the
Shayona Finserve mobile application (“App”).
By accessing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to:
- Existing clients of Shayona Finserve who log into the App to view their GST, ITR, accounting details, and (where applicable) loan status; and
- Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) who log into the App to view information related to their assigned clients.
The App is not a public loan marketplace and does not allow users to apply for new loans directly from the App. It only displays data that has already been processed or maintained by Shayona in its existing systems.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to identify you, provide you access, and display your data securely.
2.1 Information Provided by You
For Clients:
- Full Name
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
For DSAs (Direct Selling Agents):
- Full Name
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
This information is primarily used for account creation, login, authentication, and communication.
2.2 Service-Related Information (Display-Only Data)
The App does not collect fresh financial documents from you. Instead, it provides a view-only interface for information that you have already shared with Shayona in your capacity as a client, or that is generated as part of the services we provide.
For Clients, the App may display:
- GST return status and related filing details
- ITR (Income Tax Return) filing status
- Accounting information and summaries as maintained by Shayona
- Loan status, only if you previously applied for a loan through Shayona by offline or other non-app channels
For DSAs, the App may display, for their assigned clients only:
- Basic client identification (e.g., client name or code, as configured)
- GST filing and accounting status for these clients
- Loan status for clients referred by the DSA (where applicable)
The App does not allow:
- Clients to apply for new loans from within the App; or
- DSAs to submit new loan applications via the App.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:
- Device information (device model, operating system version, device identifiers)
- App usage data (pages/screens viewed, actions taken, time spent)
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
- IP address, approximate location based on IP (if required for security or fraud prevention)
This information helps us to maintain, secure, and improve the App.
3. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you create an account or log in as a client or DSA.
- From our internal systems, where your GST, ITR, accounting, and loan status information is already stored as part of the services we provide offline.
- Automatically through your use of the App (technical and usage data as described above).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your App account (client or DSA)
- To authenticate your identity and provide secure login
- To display your GST, ITR, accounting, and loan status information within the App
- To enable DSAs to view information relating only to their assigned clients
- To process and manage subscription payments via Razorpay
- To send you service-related notifications, reminders, or support communications
- To maintain, analyze, and improve the App’s performance and security
- To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or tax obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketers or advertisers.
5. DSA (Direct Selling Agent) Access
DSAs are granted access as part of an existing business relationship with Shayona. Their access is strictly controlled and limited.
DSAs can:
- View the status of GST, ITR, and accounting information of clients specifically assigned to them
- View the loan status of clients referred by them (if applicable and configured)
DSAs cannot:
- Apply for new loans via the App
- Edit or modify client data via the App
- Access clients who are not assigned to them
- View sensitive payment or billing details of clients
DSA access and actions may be logged and monitored to prevent misuse and to improve security.
